KinoDuo / Features
What a room can do
Below, every feature is shown in action: your screen on the left, your friend’s on the right. The delay between them is real — that is how long the signal takes.

Pause the video
Pause, seek and playback speed are shared: one person presses and it stops for everyone. The server keeps the same moment for each participant and pulls back those who fall behind, so nobody has to count “three, two, one” and hit space together. If someone’s connection dips and their picture drifts, the “Resync” button brings them back to the shared point.

Slap your stickers onto the video
You can take a sticker and stick it right onto the frame — it appears for everyone and stays where you put it. Stickers can be moved, rotated and grouped into sets: a room takes up to fifteen packs, or thirty with a subscription.
Account needed
React to the moment
Short icons that pop up over the video and fade by themselves. They do what an elbow nudge does at the cinema: mark a moment without breaking off to type or pausing the film.

Write, enjoy the moment
A text chat beside the player. On a large screen it is always open; on a phone it unfolds as its own panel. Messages arrive instantly, and when the chat is collapsed the button shows an unread counter.

Draw right on the frame
Drawing over the frame: circle the detail you want to point at and the line appears for the other person. After a few seconds it dissolves on its own so it does not get in the way.

Talk, share what you feel
Voice and video calls right inside the room, without a separate app. Audio goes directly between participants, and while you are silent the microphone is dimmed — the others do not hear your background.
Account needed
Share your screen
Screen sharing for when the video is somewhere a link cannot reach: in an app, behind a password, on your own computer. Your friends see exactly what you see.
How it works
KinoDuo does not relay video between participants and does not store it. Each browser opens the picture itself — a file from your disk, a link or an embedded player — while the service does one thing: it keeps the playback moment the same for everyone. That is why quality depends only on your source, and the load on the connection does not grow with the number of participants.
Privacy follows from this: a file on your device goes nowhere, and the server sees only the room code and the position in seconds. The details are in the privacy policy.
What you can watch together
A file from your computer, a direct video link, YouTube, VK Video and RUTUBE. You can find a film or a series by name — choosing the season, the episode and the dub — or share your screen. Common questions about sources are answered on the FAQ.
What you can watch on
Everything runs in the browser: no apps or extensions to install. On a phone the interface rearranges for the narrow screen, chat opens as its own panel and secondary buttons move under “More”. Syncing behaves just as it does on a computer.
