KinoDuo / Legal
Terms of use
Updated: 11 August 2026
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails.
What the service provides
KinoDuo is a player with synchronisation. It keeps the playback position aligned between people in a room and adds chat, reactions and voice and video calls.
The service does not host, store or distribute video. We have no film catalogue and no search over one. What to watch is decided by the user: they open a file from their device, paste a link, connect YouTube, VK Video or RUTUBE, or share their screen.
User responsibility
By opening material in a room you confirm that you have the right to do so. You are responsible for observing copyright and the laws of your country regarding what you open and show to others.
The service may not be used to:
- distribute material that infringes anyone’s rights;
- transmit content prohibited by law;
- insult, threaten or harass other participants;
- attempt to disrupt the service or gain access to other people’s rooms.
Rooms and access
A room is open to anyone who knows its address. There is no password, so avoid simple codes if you want to watch in a small circle. The room and its messages are deleted 30 minutes after the last person leaves.
No warranties
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of messages or availability at any given moment. Call quality depends on your network and may be unattainable with some network settings.
Advertising
Ads may be shown on the pages. We are not responsible for the content of the ads or for the sites they lead to. How data is processed is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
